I intend to conceive after the age of 35 years.

THE PROCESS
A single egg freezing cycle is a 12-14 day process from the stimulation journey to egg retrieval/ embryo fertilisation before freezing for future use. Everyone’s experience is unique and the mentioned days are averages that may differ person to person. Two or more cycles may be needed for sufficient healthy eggs to be retrieved.
Step 1
Egg Freezing Assessment
The fertility assessment will be an hour long in-clinic appointment catering to your egg freezing journey to help you create a personalised plan. This will help you make an informed decision, understand the process and customise your journey best suited to your requirements. The assessment usually includes an ultrasound of your ovaries and a medical history review. This provides a better view of your current ovarian reserve.
Step 2
Personalised Plan
Post your egg freezing assessment results analysis, we finalise a personalized plan to cater to your requirements. A few more recommended tests may be required before we begin with the stimulation process.
Your fertility care team will assist you in learning how to administer the at-home hormone injections ( painless and easy to use ) involved in the stimulation process.
Step 3
Stimulation process ( 9-12 days )
Let us first talk about the ovulation process. Each month your body recruits a certain set of eggs to start growing and mature ( we can count these eggs through the vaginal ultrasound during your vaginal ultrasound ! ) Your brain sends a signal to the batch to help only one of these eggs fully mature.
Contrary to the natural ovulation process, during stimulation, the hormone injections stimulate your ovaries to produce multiple mature eggs.
Step 4
Egg Retrieval ( 11- 14 days )
Egg Retrieval ( 11- 14 days )
The egg retrieval procedure is done 2 days after administration of the last hormone injection. The multiple mature eggs are now collected through a small procedure ( under anaesthetic) and frozen for future use. This is a simple and painless process and does not require you to stop your day to day activities.

Embryo Banking with Genetic Testing
This is a 10-14 day process wherein your ovaries are stimulated to grow mature and multiple eggs that are then retrieved and fertilised with predetermined sperm to create embryos. These embryos are genetically tested ( PGS/PGD) via a biopsy to determine the genetic viability prior to freezing.
Annual Storage
Storage of eggs or embryos is done in liquid nitrogen tanks with controlled temperature suitable for healthy preservation.
