GUIDE TO CONCEPTION

Getting pregnant might not be as easy for all alike, 1 in 5 couples face trouble conceiving naturally and this number escalates to 1 in 3 after the age of 35. But at Eva Care, we believe in finding a solution to your woes. Reproductive healthcare can significantly increase your chances of conception.

Option 1

Timed Intercourse

In your conception journey, we will move step by step to assess the efficacy of natural conception before other procedures.

Our first effort will be to help you try to conceive naturally. A woman is fertile only 5 days every month. We will create favourable conditions to achieve success by using ultrasound, blood work monitoring or a home ovulation predictor kit to aid in properly timed sexual intercourse.

Oral medications like Clomid or Letrazole

These oral medications increase the chances of pregnancy in comparison to natural timed intercourse. You are given the medication orally or through injection for 5 days from the 2nd/3rd day of your menstrual cycle. Ultrasound monitoring helps determine the growth of eggs and patients are required to visit the clinic 3-5 times during the process. This is a simple and effective process that brings you to your ‘good news’ with minimal effort!

Option 2

Option 3

IUI

Intrauterine insemination ( IUI ) is a procedure for treating infertility. Sperm that have been washed and concentrated are placed directly into the uterus at the time when your ovary releases one or more eggs to be fertilised/for fertilisation. Doctor Aradhna has achieved a success rate of 25% as opposed to a 15% standard success rate in IUI procedures.

IVF

IVF is a process of fertilisation and an assisted reproductive technology used for infertility treatment. During the IVF process, the egg is combined with the sperm outside the body to fertilise or form an embryo. Doctor Aradhana has a commendable success rate of 70-80% in contrast to the standard success rate of 40-50%.

Option 4

IVF with Doctor Aradhana - IVF Process

Eva Care, under the guidance and care of Doctor Aradhna is your bridge to happiness.

An IVF cycle takes about one month from the day you start taking medication for your pregnancy test. It includes ovarian stimulation monitoring, egg retrieval procedure, semen preparation, fertilization and culture of the eggs, and the embryo transfer procedure followed by a pregnancy test.

Step 1
The IVF process begins

These oral medications increase the chances of pregnancy in comparison to natural timed intercourse. You are given the medication orally or through injection for 5 days from the 2nd/3rd day of your menstrual cycle. Ultrasound monitoring helps determine the growth of eggs and patients are required to visit the clinic 3-5 times during the process. This is a simple and effective process that brings you to your ‘good news’ with minimal effort!

Step 2
Ovarian Stimulation ( Day 1 to Day 13)

After reviewing your personalised treatment plan, we begin with the ovarian stimulation process. In order to stimulate the ovaries to produce multiple eggs, injections are self-administered at home for 8-10 days starting from the 2nd or 3rd day of your menstrual cycle. These injections are painless pricks and incredibly easy to use at home!

Step 3
Egg Retrieval and Semen Preparation ( Day 14 )

Now that your ovaries have been prepared to produce multiple eggs. The next step is to aspirate the eggs under anaesthetic using vaginal ultrasound. This is a minor procedure done under daycare and does not restrict any normal activities. Typically, on the same day as your egg retrieval, a semen sample is collected from the male.

Step 4
Fertilisation and culture of eggs ( Day 14-19 )

The eggs we retrieved from your ovaries are then fertilised with the sperm using the IVF/ICS procedure. Any resulting embryo is left to develop for a few days and monitored for quality.

Step 5
Embryo Transfer (Day 19)

After around 3-5 days of the egg retrieval process, the highest quality embryos(blastocyst) is/are placed into the uterus. It is a painless process and does not require bed rest.

Step 6
Pregnancy Test (2 weeks after embryo transfer i.e 31-34th day)

The final step in the IVF process is to check the development of the embryo into a fetus. This is done by a blood test approximately 2 weeks after the embryo transfer. It is important to know that more than one cycle may be needed to achieve success in the IVF procedure.

Our mission is to turn hopes into happiness!
